River Carroll (Cheyenne Arapaho) serves as a Policy and Communications Associate at NCUIH, where he supports the development and implementation of communications strategies to advance NCUIH's mission. He holds a Master of Legal Studies in Indigenous Peoples Law from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. River’s work is grounded in a commitment to increasing awareness of the unique needs of Urban Indian Organizations and promoting policies that support accessible, culturally grounded health care for all American Indian and Alaska Native communities.
