Short Abstract:

The American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is pleased to endorse HR 3200 addressing much needed change in our current healthcare system. AMSA is the oldest and largest organization of physicians-in-training in the United States, with over 62,000 medical, pre-medical, resident and physician members.

As future physicians, we see throughout our training the lack of access and affordability our patients must face. All too often, our patients are left without needed medical care, including preventative care, life-saving therapies, and other medical interventions. AMSA recognizes as one of its key Strategic Priorities: Quality, Affordable Health Care for All, as well as necessary Health Care Equity.
