Accreditation is a foundational element for health centers aiming to provide safe, effective, and high-quality care to their patients. This series will provide Urban Indian Organizations (UIOs) with an in-depth guide to the accreditation process of four different accrediting agencies: the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), the Joint Commission (TJC), the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).
