Short Abstract:

Honorable Chairman and Committee Members, my name is Bob Hall.  I am the president of the National Council of Urban Indian Health.  I am also a member of the ---- Tribe and the Executive Director of the South Dakota Urban Indian Health Clinic.  On behalf of NCUIH, I would like to express our appreciation for this opportunity to testify before your Committee on the importance for the urban Indian population of elevating the position of Director of the Indian Health Service to Assistant Secretary for Indian Health.
