Honorable Chairman and Committee Members, my name is Barbara Namias, President of the National Council of Urban Indian Health.  I am a member of the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe and also the Health Director of the North American Indian Center of Boston.  On behalf of NCUIH, and its 31 member programs, I would like to express our appreciation for this opportunity to testify before your Committee on the reauthorization of the Indian Health Care Improvement Act.
