Short Abstract:

On behalf of the National Council of Urban Indian Health and our 36 member organizations in urban centers across the country, we are pleased to be assisting the Center for Disease Control with the distribution of the Eagle book series for education and health promotion in our Native community. The creation of these books has been in consultation with the Native community and the final products reflect a sense of community and cultural pride. We are proud to support the efforts of CDC to educate young people about health topics, because as you know, the younger our children learn good health habits, the more likely they are to become life long behaviors.
