As the Executive Director of the National Council of Urban Indian Health (NCUIH) I hereby wish to express my unconditional support of Jackie Mercers nomination to the position of Portland Area Representative to the Legislative Commission on Indian Services. I have had the pleasure of dealing with Ms. Mercer both professionally and personally and she has impressed me deeply with her knowledge of both local and national Indian affairs.
