Short Abstract:

Due to the fact that American Indians (AI) have the highest rate of severe physical housing problems in the U.S, and that little information exists about the environmental hazards in AI homes, authors of this paper take on the task of describing challenges that were encountered when recruiting AI for a home-and employment-based environmental health assessments, and highlight major successes, along with proposing recommendations for future indoor environmental health studies.
