SUMMARY:Emergency Preparedness and Vaccination Planning Storyteller Application (2022-2023)
DESCRIPTION:December 30\, 2022\nStorytellers\nThe Storytellers’ funded opportunity is a part of NCUIH’s Emergency Preparedness and Vaccine Planning CDC funded grant initiative. Up to 10 Storytellers will participate through July 2023.  \nWho are Storytellers? \n\nFederally Funded Title V Urban Indian Organizations \nAll program types\, including outreach and referral\, residential treatment\, and mental health and substance abuse outpatient sites \nSupporting other organizations through knowledge\, experience\, and resources to assist others to maneuver through adult vaccinations\, such as influenza and COVID-19\, within their organizations and roles. \nFunded opportunity of $30\,000 for 10 UIOs \n\nWhat will Storytellers do? \n\nShare on emergency preparedness and/or vaccine planning such as: \nPolicies and procedures \nStandard Operating Procedures \nTrainings \nTemplates \nStrengthen your vaccine & emergency programs with reviews and Subject Matter Experts (SME) support \nAbility to support SMEs in the development of trainings and documents \nPlatforms utilized: \n\nSharePoint \nNCUIH Website \nNCUIH Newsletter \nTrainings/Webinars \n\n\nAttend monthly check-in calls & trainings/webinars provided by the NCUIH project team \nApproximately 5-10 staff hours per month \nOpportunity for Professional Development Opportunities for your staff! \n\nApplications open NOW!\n\n

DESCRIPTION:SAVE THE DATE: November 2\, 2022\, 2-3 p.m. EST\n\nObjectives \n\nProvide information about the Storyteller opportunity and the roles and responsibilities of the Storytellers.\nLearn from past Storytellers’ experiences with the program and the resources acquired to better support their organization’s Emergency Preparedness initiatives.\nProvide an overview and a walkthrough of the Storyteller application process\n\nEmergency Preparedness and Vaccination Planning Storyteller Application (2022-2023)\nApplication Deadline: November 15\, 2022 \n\nThe National Council of Urban Indian Health (NCUIH) is seeking applications from Title V Urban Indian Organizations (UIOs) interested in serving as a Storyteller for a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)-funded project on emergency preparedness/response and vaccine planning. Recruited UIO health care organizations and individuals will be Storytellers for NCUIH’s Protecting our Future through Vaccine Planning and Emergency Preparedness program. Storytellers will support other organizations through knowledge\, experience\, and resources to assist others in maneuvering through adult vaccinations\, such as influenza and COVID-19\, within their organizations and roles.
