SUMMARY:Emergency Preparedness and Vaccination Planning Storyteller Application (2022-2023)
DESCRIPTION:December 30\, 2022\nStorytellers\nThe Storytellers’ funded opportunity is a part of NCUIH’s Emergency Preparedness and Vaccine Planning CDC funded grant initiative. Up to 10 Storytellers will participate through July 2023.  \nWho are Storytellers? \n\nFederally Funded Title V Urban Indian Organizations \nAll program types\, including outreach and referral\, residential treatment\, and mental health and substance abuse outpatient sites \nSupporting other organizations through knowledge\, experience\, and resources to assist others to maneuver through adult vaccinations\, such as influenza and COVID-19\, within their organizations and roles. \nFunded opportunity of $30\,000 for 10 UIOs \n\nWhat will Storytellers do? \n\nShare on emergency preparedness and/or vaccine planning such as: \nPolicies and procedures \nStandard Operating Procedures \nTrainings \nTemplates \nStrengthen your vaccine & emergency programs with reviews and Subject Matter Experts (SME) support \nAbility to support SMEs in the development of trainings and documents \nPlatforms utilized: \n\nSharePoint \nNCUIH Website \nNCUIH Newsletter \nTrainings/Webinars \n\n\nAttend monthly check-in calls & trainings/webinars provided by the NCUIH project team \nApproximately 5-10 staff hours per month \nOpportunity for Professional Development Opportunities for your staff! \n\nApplications open NOW!\n\n

DESCRIPTION:October 27\, 2022 | 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. EST\nThe Reclaiming our Future: Indigenizing Strategic Planning to Address Social Determinants of Health Community of Learning will provide Urban Indian Health Organizations’ (UIO)\, UIO leadership\, behavioral health providers\, and grant development staff the skills to help sustain current funding and secure new funding.
